XG-Wizard is an editor/librarian program for all Yamaha XG hardware and software. Although the program was especially developed for the SW1000XG it can be used for the DB50XG, SW60XG, MU10, MU50, MU80, MU90, MU100, MU128, QY70, QY700, QS300, CS1x, CS2x, PSR-Keyboard series, CVP series and other XG compatible instruments. Colored markers indicate special level hardware requirements for using some special functions. If your hardware doesn't support the special functionality, it will simply ignore the message.
XG-Wizard may be controlled by either the computer keyboard or a MIDI keyboard (Remote Control). The Remote Control functions are avaible even while another program has the focus which means you can control XG-Wizard from another program.
Plug-in boards, add extra functionality to the SW1000XG. Special editor modules are already planned for XG Wizard and will be integrated into future updates for free. These modules will allow detailed access to the plug-in boards. An editor module for the Vocal Harmony Plug-in Board (PLG100-VH) is already included.
