WaveShow Sound Explorer combines the functions of a spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, mixer, wave file player/recorder, CD player, and a MIDI keyboard into a single program. Use the Mixer to select a sound source, adjust the volume, and then click [Play] or [Record]. The Oscilloscope traces the waveform of the sound while the Spectrum Analyzer plots the harmonic frequencies of that sound, aligned with the keys of the MIDI Keyboard so that you can see the loudness of each note as it is played. The Spectrum Analyzer bar graph scrolls continuously so that you can view all nuances of the sound as it changes with time.
