Wav_Akai is a windows application that can send any .wav file (16-bits only) mono or stereo to your Sampler using the generic Sample Dump Standard (SDS, mono only) or Akai model specific methods. The Akia specific methods allows S900 and S950 models to receive mono and stereo .wav files with names and associated program information. It also emulates stereo mode that lets you play stereo samples. Akai S1000, S1100, S2800, S3000, S3200, S2000, S3000XL, S3200XL additionally support 11KHz, 22KHz and 44Khz .wav files.

Note: Wav_Akai sends samples by MIDI only (SCSI is not supported) and it does not work with Akai MPCs.
