The Amulet VST Adapter is a utility that lets you use Cubase VST format Plug-ins in any DirectX Plug-in compatible application, such as Cakewalk Pro Audio or Sonic Foundry Sound Forge. It takes the form of a DirectX plug-in that is capable of loading VST plug-in DLL files, and converting the audio passed by the application to the VST format. It's fast (typically <3% CPU consumption), easy to use, and effective.
There are now over 100 freeware and shareware VST Plug-Ins not available in the DirectX format - this adapter works with ALL of them, giving you access to a whole new range of effects in your favourite audio applications.
This software has had successful test results with more than 100 VST plug-ins and many of the popular DirectX hosts including ACID and ACID Pro, Cakewalk Pro Audio 6 and higher, Cool Edit Pro, n-Track Studio, Sound Forge 4.x, Vegas Pro (as an Aux effect only) and many more.
