Virtual DJ Mini is a small, dockable toolbar style application for playing sound files.
You can play many different sound file formats, including Window's Wave files, MPEG-1
Layer 3 (mp3) files, MIDI files, Real Audio files, and more. Mini also handles playlist
files including VDJ, M3U, and PLS format playlists.
What sets Mini apart from other media players is the fact that it will crossfade the
songs in a playlist automatically. You can specify how many seconds to fade the songs. You
can also tell Mini not to repeat a song until a certain number of songs have gone by.
Because of it's small size and Auto Hide abities, you can leave Mini open all the time
while you work.
Mini features a track bar for scrolling through a song, elapsed / remaining time display,
Previous, Play, Pause, Stop, Next, and Open File buttons, and many options to make Mini work
the way you want it to.
Features
- Playlist Support - Mini supports M3U, PLS, and VDJ format playlist files. You can create, modify, save and play them with Mini.
- AutoFade - You can tell Mini at what point in a song to start fading the next song in, up to 30 seconds, making it sound like your own personal Dj
- SmartRandom - Tell Mini how many songs must be played before a song can be played again. No more stale, overplayed tunes!
- File Association - You can associate your sound files with Mini. If you ever decide you no longer want Mini to be your default player for a particular sound file, it remembers your old default player and will reassociate them.
- Drag and Drop - Just drag a sound file or playlist from Explorer or other file manager and drop it on Mini to play it.
- Integrated Playlist Editor - Build an edit playlists with Mini's powerful playlist editor. Sorting abilities, drag and drop support, and multi-format support are just a few of it's features.
