Tuareg is an interactive phrase sampler made by Bram Bos (the creator of HammerHead and Moonfish). It is a sequencer/loop-composer/remixer that creates tracks out of loops, samples and short sounds. This makes it the ultimate playpal of your other softsynths, drum machines and sample CDs.
The purpose of this software is to allow musicians to break free from the usual ways of making music and to let them create their tracks by playing and experimenting with the sounds, aided by the cunning interface that Tuareg provides.
Tuareg comes in two versions, Free and Fat. The Free version is mono and has 6 channels. The Fat version has 12 stereo channels, resonant filters, MP3 support and a plugin architecture.
