SubSynth is a synthesiser program that uses subtractive synthesis - the
method used by analogue synthesisers like Moogs and Roland TB303s.
SubSynth generates wave (.wav) files. It can also create "multisamples".
These are groups of wave files made by progressively changing synthesiser
parameters - great for filter sweeps and similar effects you might get by
wiggling a synth's controls.
If you compose electronic music using wave files then subSynth is for you.
It is an ideal source of sounds for soundcards that can trigger wave files
with MIDI, such as the Gravis UltraSound, SoundBlaster AWE 32 and 64 and some
of the Turtle Beach cards.
