Soft Encode converts your multi-channel audio files to standard AC-3 format for use in DVD and laser disc authoring projects or ATSC digital television, digital cable or direct broadcast satellite transmission applications.
Soft Encode comes in two versions: 2 channel and 5.1 channel. The 2 channel version covers two speaker Dolby Digital Encoding. The 5.1 channel version gives you placement control over 5 speaker channels and an LFE channel.
