Description

SimSynth is a sound synthesizer. It allows you to create new sounds and save them as RIFF wave format files (WAV files).

This program puts a great deal of analog synthesis tools at your disposal. 3 oscillators, an LFO, a filter, amplitude/oscillator/filter envelopes. It also has some extremely simple effects you can use. Sounds can be generated at 11025, 22050, or 44100Hz, 8 or 16 bit, mono or stereo.

Sound card (stereo recommended)

This program also runs on Windows 95/98/NT but does not support long file names.

This program is freeware and has no trial limitations. It was made freeware after the author decided that version 1.3 was going to be the final release and is now distributed pre-registered for full functionality.

SimSynth 2, the sequal is also now available as shareware. It contains many new features as well as a cool new interface.
