Rosoft CD Extractor (formerly The Ripper) can digitally extract CD audio to create wave and MP3 files using Windows CODECs for wave files and a command-line MP3 encoder for MP3 compression (BladeEncode, Plugger+ and XingMP3 Encoder have been tested). It also has the ability to play a CD at half speed without changing the key and provides control over playack with the equalizer, pitch and volume controls.

This program is freeware (the author calls it adware) and has no trial limitations. It displays banner advertisments and a miniature ad in your titlebar rather than charging users. You can register the software to remove the advertisments.
