December, 3, 1999. SpinAudio Software, a developer of professional audio processing plugins for the music industry announces VST-DX Wrapper Lite.

VST-DX Wrapper Lite is a DirectShow audio plugin (DX plugin), that allows you to use VST audio plugins in applications, which support only DX plugins, such as Sonic Foundry’s SoundForge, Vegas Pro and Acid, CakeWalk Pro Audio etc.

VST-DX Wrapper Lite has the following features:

• VST plugin is displayed in a single window like a general DX plugin
• VST presets are mapped onto DX static presets. So you can easily select VST program through DX
• The fully functional interface for editorless plugins is provided
• The state of VST plugin can be saved as a DX preset
• VST plugin can be selected for the automatic loading on Wrapper startup
• Both 16bit and 24/32 inputs are supported

System Requirements:
Platform: Intel Pentium, and compatible CPUs
Operating Systems: Windows 95/98, Windows NT

Minimal Configuration:
Pentium 100, 16 Mb of RAM. 1Mb of free hard disk space.

The Pro version, that will allow to do individual wrapping along with skins support for editorless plugins, is planned to be released in February.
