(Norcross. Ga. November 23, 1999) - FAQ System Engineering in Norcross, Georgia has teamed with Alexander Publishing to bundle the Alexander University on-line and hardcopy training materials with the Audio Master PC. Offered immediately are the Emagic Logic 4.0 and Cubase VST, Music Production and Recording 100 online courses, and in late November, early December, the Cakewalk 9 online course. Each of the teacher-assisted classes in Cakewalk, Cubase, Emagic and Music Production & Recording 100 is the academic equivalent of a workshop class, designed to be completed in a month or less. Audio Master PC customers, for all three major digital recording programs, learn sequencing, recording and mixing techniques written to production standards in Los Angeles. Each course comes with written instruction, MIDI files, and two sets of .wav files. Set 1 teaches the Audio Master customer how to set levels between the mixing board and the audio software, and insure speakers are in phase. Set 2 is for the recording/mixing portion of the course and comes with .wav files of acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and flute to learn how pan, effect, EQ and mix. For the final project, Audio Master customers record and mix their own original piece. The Audio Master PC, an Intel PIII based music machine, is FAQ's solution for bridging the gap between software developers, hardware manufacturers and the struggle end users have with putting together DAW and MIDI applications on a PC platform. The Audio Master PC is "turn-key", ready for use right out of the box. "The number one issue we have seen is the application learning curve people experience with our turn-key box's. Our new strategic partne rship with Alexander gives our customers a step-by-step, quick-paced, easy entry into digital audio recording." says Gerry van Mansfeld of FAQ. "Since the chief benefit of the Audio Master PC is the solution it provides, bundling Alexander Publishing's courses were a perfect fit." FAQ System Engineering is located in Norcross, Georgia, the Silicon Valley of the southeast. The company strives to provide a "turn-key" solution of top quality affordable music PC's for a growing home-based recording studio market.
