Wave Arts' 3-D Audio DSP plug-in sets the standard for enhancing MP3 audio.
Arlington, Massachusetts - - (November 23, 1999) Wave Arts, Inc. announced the release of WaveSurround Version 3, its popular 3D audio DSP plug-in for NullSoft's WinAmp MP3 player. It features state of the art spatial audio processing technology.
WaveSurround's new reverb feature includes five room model presets that emulate a chamber, club, room, hall and stadium. The amount of reverb can be adjusted on the fly with out any clicks or artifacts due to Wave Arts' unique parameter update method. WaveSurround V3 also includes a bass tone control for improved low frequency response. The WaveSurround technology uses sophisticated signal processing technology to synthesize "virtual" loudspeakers that can be positioned anywhere around the listener. By positioning the virtual speakers to the sides of the listener, the listener becomes immersed in the sound mix. Minimum system requirements for the plug-in are a 133Mhz Pentium CPU running Win 95, 98 or NT. It can be downloaded for free from www.wavearts.com or a registered copy can be purchased for only $9.95. Wave Arts, Inc., headquartered in Arlington, Massachusetts, is a premier software developer of 3D audio and digital signal processing technology.
