Arlington, MA. (February 29, 2000) - Sonic Network, Inc., (formerly a part of Hruska Audio Productions), a leading creator of high quality sounds and music for the PC and Internet, has announced the release of all the Sonic Implants Drum Implants in Kurzweil and Akai formats. Users of these synthesizers will be able to download individual drum series products or order the entire collection on CD-ROM from the Sonic Implants website.

"We're very excited to be the first Soundware Company that in addition to CDs, offers Kurzweil and Akai sounds in small soundsets for less money. 8 to 16 Megabyte products range between $14.95 and $24.95. Musicians on a budget love this because they only buy the sounds they need. After auditioning the sounds on the website you simply pay for them and download them right away," said a Sonic Implants spokesperson.

Recorded at state of the art studios in Boston, Massachusetts, Sonic Network President and veteran Kurzweil programmer, Jennifer Hruska, took the entire Blue Jay Drums and Session Drums Series through the workings of Kurzweil's V.A.S.T. synthesis technology to deliver some of the highest quality drums available. All drums are multi-velocity (soft to loud hits recorded), Stereo, available in Close, Small or Large Ambient versions and include unusual drum variations such as Distortion Kits, Flanged Kits, Breakbeat Kits, Filter Kits, Style Kits and LFO Kits. Lead sound designer, Dave Quattrini did the porting and enhancing job for the Akai synth format. Extremely playable, the Akai format also offers enhanced filter and breakbeat kits, all of which are available on any of the Akai S-Series samplers.
