 FXpansion today announced the release of version 2.0 of the popular "Amulet" VST to DirectX adapter plug-in. Version 2.0 offers significantly improved usability and overall performance, as well as the following important new features.
- MIDI RealTime Automation - all FX parameters can now be controlled in realtime via MIDI continuous controller messages.
- VST2.0 VST Instrument support - you can now use VST Instruments (virtual synthesisers) in many DirectX audio applications.
- VEGAS Track Insert mode - the VST to DirectX Adapter now works as an Insert in Sonic Foundry's VEGAS multitracker
- VST Preset/Program support - you can now use the factory presets supplied with many VST plug-ins.
Version 2.0 is available online priced at only $60, and is a free update for registered customers of v1.0x.
