Previously well-known on the freeware scene for their Buzz (the superb tracker program) plug-ins, the company is now focused purely on the commercial market. In order to celebrate their move out of the back garage they felt that more than just champagne was needed - and so, true to their roots, they have a stunning limited freeware offer. The Muon Atom is an 8 voice polyphonic software synthesiser, with a powerful filter and a warm, analogue sound. Muon Software is also working on a standalone version of Muon Atom which has the same specs as the VST version, except it will work with any MIDI sequencer, DirectX or multimedia sound card drivers.
