The unregistered version has a 40 day trial period. It displays a registration dialog box (not during playback or recording) and limits rendering (mixdown) to a single wave file to the first 10 seconds of the song. Also, real-time effects work only on the first track and no more than 2 non-overlapping wave files can coexist on a single track.
