MxTrax and Yamaha DSP Factory is a combination that brings large-studio performance to the desktop, ideal for vocalists and musicians laying live tracks. It uses the serious DSP power of DSP Factory to deliver many channels of real-time mixing and effects. All faders, panners, EQ, and dynamics operate in real-time, to give the feel and functionality of a dedicated console.
MxTrax provides drag-and-drop mixer architecture for the DSP Factory allowing you to create a custom mixer by dragging and dropping mixer components from a toolkit. Components include input and output faders, panners, EQ, delay, solo/mute, and compression/expansion, and more. Mixer channels can be connected to disk tracks, external I/O, and internal buses.
