MP3 Strip_It! lets you tag, organize, and rename your MP3 files; create play-lists; encode MP3 files or sample CD tracks into Wave format; and play MP3 files without WinAmp or any other MP3 player.
The program extracts audio from CDs digitally to obtain perfect reproduction. It can also sample audio from your CD player directly to your sound card for good results from CD-ROMs that are not capable of extracting audio digitally. Glacier Software also makes MP3 Strip_It! which only does this "analog" extraction (no digital).
