MicroGater is a free MIDI gate VST effects plugin for Windows.

MicroGater is a simple MIDI gate with invert button and ASR envelope. In normal mode it works as a regular gate, in inverted mode when you play a note it will lower the volume. This is useful to create a controlled pumping effect like when using a side chain compressor.

Features

• Invert button: Inverts the envelope, when "on" it raises the level from zero, when "off" it supress the level from max.
• Vel: when "on" MicroGater will accept note velocity to control the amount of effect applied individually.
• Lvl: Controls the amount of effect applied, it does nothing if Vel is "on" MIDI note (dropdown menu): with this you can choose the note you want to be used to trigger the gate, this is useful when you're working with drum machines and you want to specify which instrument (eg: kick drum) will trigger the envelope.
• Envelope: Attack, Decay,Sustain, Release.
