Media Box is an all-in-one MP3 player, ripper, encoder, decoder and playlister.

- Play Bar - play, loop, position and speed control (pitch) control.
- Database - search, filter and manage your songs using ID3 tag information
- Auto-Queue - create song sets using criteria entered using the drop down menu (from 16 fields including Path, File, Song Title, Artist, Album, Genre, Duration, Year, Tempo, Lyricist, Composer, Key, Comment, E-Mail, Web Address and Info)
- Editor - Rich Text Editor lets you create information pages (fonts, background color, photos) that auto load when navigating to a directory, or selecting a song.
- Encoder - encodes CD or WAV to MP3s using the internal encoder or Blade or LAME extern encoders (batch support)
- Decoder - decodes MP3 to WAV with an optional Punch In/Out feature for trimming down the decoded WAV file (batch support)
- Line-in Recording - create MP3s from tapes, records or any other line-in source (registered users only)
- CDDB2 Support - get artist, title, track, credit, and other information about CD from the Internet
- Music Browser - a mini internet explorer linked to the CDDB database and displays tour information, television appearances, and other information linked to the CD you are playing.
- Skin Support - allows you to change the programs interface graphics. Registered users can use Transamp to further extend skin flexibility.
- DJ Mixer - smoothly mix one song into another with adjustable fade out, fade in and overlap times.
- Alarm Clock - alarm clock functionality (registered users only)
- Karaoke - karaoke style lyrics display
- Album Cover Photos - photo display and included scanning and editing software, tailor made for Media Box.
