JayTrax combines the sound reproduction of synthesizers and the composing tools of modern sequencers in an intuitive but powerful user interface. The completed songs can be easily integrated into web pages or in self made programs.

The program's instrument editor features an incredibly flexible and visual software synthesis editor. It visually displays and animates the synthesised waveform as it changes over time with an envelope and/or morphs from one waveform to another. This is very useful in helping visualize your sounds, not to mention extremely cool looking.
