Guitar Book is a software version of a guitar reference and learning guide. It is based on what a "real" guitar book would provide: access to thousands of chord and scale diagrams, only you don't have to leaf through several pages to find what you're looking for. Just click on the key and chords/scales you want to see and then decide if you want to view them on screen and/or print them out. Plus you can design your own chords. Guitar Book also can play chords and scales so you can hear what they should sound like using MIDI (recommended) or the PC speaker.
Features
- Thousands of chord, arpeggio, and scale diagrams with full sound (includes both beginner and advanced diagrams).
- Diagrams are full color for easy learning.
- The Strum control can slow down the "picking" of any chord, scale, or arpeggio to help you get it right.
- Chords, arpeggios, and scales can be printed to create your own chord book (great for teachers).
- Notes are highlighted as you play scales and arpeggios.
- Interval Calculator makes it easy to see relationships of notes in all diagrams.
- Keyboard window lets you view and study scales and chord arpeggios in a "linear" fashion.
- Full 22 fret guitar fretboard screen included so you can view every note of any scale or chord arpeggio (fully tunable to standard or any alternate tuning)
- Chord Design provides extensive features to make your own chords in any tuning
- PlayPage is used to build simple chord progressions of any chords you design or load allowing you to hear what your chords sound like when played together.
