Future Beat 3D is a stylish looking tool for creating and mixing 3D audio compositions designed for non-professional music makers. It provides a simple editor which allows you to load and mix up to 64 different wave file tracks simultaneously with your mouse, computer keyboard or MIDI keyboard.
In addition to the simple editor, you can also use the more detailed track editor which provides a more detailed overview of your mix with tracks of displayed waveforms. Waveform's can be loaded and setup for looping or one-shot playback modes. Then the start and end points can be adjusted with the mouse. All mixing recorded in the simple editor can also be fine tuned in the track editor. Each track's "3D position" can be set or animated with the 3D panel.
You can either use pre-made wave files provided on the full versions CD or create your own with the built-in drum editor for percussion sequencing and solo composer for melodic creations. An included Wave Editor can be used to add tweak and apply effects to any WAV file. It can also be used to record vocals and other external sounds.
