CD-Runner has been designed to automatically recognize and play Audio CDs, CD-ROMs, Removable Disks (RDs), and a wide variety of movie and audio files using four specially designed faceplates. It also allows you to rip audio CD tracks. The faceplates are designed to look like real home hi-fi / VCR equipment, and are highly customizable.
Full support is provided for the CDDB, which is a free online CD Database. With an Internet connection, you can automatically download and submit Audio CD information (artist & album titles, song titles, liner notes, etc.). You can also download song lyrics online from the ILS (International Lyrics Server).
Full support is provided for MPEG, AVI, DAT, MOV, QT and MMM movie types using the Media Runner. In addition, virtually all popular sound files can be played from WAV to MP3.
CD-Runner can rip your favorite audio CD tracks into WAV (or using an MP3 encoder convert to MP3) format.
