AudioSim is a virtual analog synthesizer for the SoundBlaster or Gravis UltraSound. It is meant to run from DOS, but can be run under Windows 95 in full-screen mode.

AudioSim contains two oscillators, four envelope generators, two low-frequency oscillators and a self oscillating multimode filter. You can access the parameters of the different modules in real-time via the graphical interface using your mouse. The program also has optional MIDI support for Gravis UltraSound and Sound Blaster cards.

  • 580k free conventional memory
  • Sound Blaster 16/32/AWE32/AWE64 (no clones or compatibles) or Gravis Ultrasound
  • XMS/EMS memory manager (in DOS mode)
  • Mouse driver (in DOS mode)

The program will also run from a Windows 95/98 MS-DOS window in full-screen mode.
