Audio Compositor is a MIDI file renderer and software wavetable synthesizer, integrated with a rich graphical environment for editing instrument samples and patches. Audio Compositor deals easily with very dense scores and extraordinarily large sample collections, enabling musicians to create, in software, digital recordings that would otherwise require a very large investment in traditional hardware samplers.

Features

  • MIDI-to-WAV file rendering suitable for professional applications.
  • Multitimbral realtime software wavetable synthesis.
  • Patch editor which understands SoundFonts, DLS and Kurzweil files, and Audio Compositor's own instrument bank format.
  • File converter for all of the types listed (Kurzweil is read-only).
  • Librarian for your sample collection in .WAV format.
