AnalogX Bound "clamps" an audio signal to within a user-specified range. It eliminates
wrapping, a common error made by plug-ins that are passed high-volume samples. This means
the other plug-in would take something like a 32-bit sample 1.1, and instead of clamping it
to 1.0, it instead wraps it to -0.9, which results in noise in the audio output.
AnalogX Bound supports mono or stereo sound streams as well as 16- and 32-bit data types,
although it is geared for 32-bit audio.
Requirements
- Windows 95/98/NT
- Software compatible with DirectX plug-ins and real-time or non-real-time processing of either 16-bit or 32-bit stereo sound streams.
- Sound card (optional)
