CDxtract allows you to browse and extract from Akai and Roland S7xx CD-ROMs and other media on your PC. It can play and extract any sample as a mono or stereo Wave or AIFF file. It also displays the waveform for a visual representation of the samples.

Features

  • Extract Single Samples - save any sample as a mono or stereo .wav or .aiff file including loop points and pitch
  • Extract Multiple Samples - save one volume, one partition or even a full disk at a time
  • SoundFont Support - save akai programs and samples as .sf2 files (full ADSR and detune conversion)
  • Sample Display - displays sample waveform and all it's parameters (frequency, pitch, size, duration, loop points, etc.)
  • Program and Patch Display - displays programs and patches with their parameters (key range, keygroups/partials and graphical key mapping, envelopes and size.)
  • Print - print the content of your Akai cdroms in HTML format (including partitions, volumes, programs and samples)
  • Database - store up to 200 CDs or other media in a database so that you can search for any volume, program or sample by name
  • ATAPI and SCSI Support - reads from ATAPI and SCSI CD-ROM drives as well as other SCSI storage device such as Zip (100 / 250), MO (51/4 - 31/2), hard disk, etc.
