Description

3D-Audio models realistic spatial audio by animating sound sources in a virtual room. The spatial audio file must be presented with a headphone to get the best results. If you listen to the sound with stereo speakers, the spatial information will be extremly altered by the room and the crosstalk between your ears.

Features

  • An unlimited number of sound sources can be placed and animated in a virtual room.
  • You can place and animate a head in the scene which represents the listener in the virtual room.
  • 3D-Audio correctly allows for the sound waves reflected from the walls up to a user defined level of recursion depth.
  • Doppler-shifts due to animated sound sources are automatically computed.
  • To see what's going on, you have a 3D-preview window which displays the current scene and the animation of the head and your sources. You can set the camera position to the head or to one of the sources to get a better impression about what happens.
  • The already completed part of the rendered sound can be checked during the calculation.
  • While rendering you can setup a new scene.
  • The program includes a wizard to allow easy and simple setup of new scenes or sources.
  • The program provides a plugin interface to allow easy recodring of motion paths from external devices like joysticks, mouse and keyboard.
